I was sitting on this one until I had a chance to snap a shot of the building with the vinyl installed. This isn’t anything illustration-based, but it’s still somewhat of a feather in the cap (pun-intended).
Some weeks are just busy. Anyone who works as a graphic design capacity knows people want everything and they want it now, or they just wait till the last minute. So in the midst of pressing art jobs I was able to lay out the copy in Adobe Illustrator, set up the photo shoot using a the suggested Canon ES 40 by a local photographer and completed this them, to scale, in Adobe Photoshop – in a day’s time.
It’s always nice to hear, “they loved it”, and “they are asking for additional designs for another location”. These were a set of four window decals/advertisements for Bush’s Chicken in San Antonio (Perrin-Beitel/Nacogdoches location).
It’s Just too bad I didn’t get to eat some of that tasty chicken, because it is tasty. Below are the individual designs. When taking the picture of the installed vinyl, a car pulled up and gave these advertisements a real good look before ordering…
