We believe in using a simple and fair rate structure. Our basic rate structure is as follows. However, we will consider charging a flat cost for the completion of an exceptionally lengthy project (e.g., thesis) in order to save you money.
After we know the length of your work and the probable depth of editing required, you will be given an estimate of the time for us to complete your project and the total cost. We will also discuss with you what level of editing you should expect for your manuscript. What about payment arrangements? We accept either checks or money orders. Down payment is ordinarily 30% of the total estimated cost and is due at the time you agree to have us begin your project. In the event that your check does not clear, we will stop all work until we are paid with a valid form of payment. The balance of your charges is due at the time of your project's completion. Once we have received full payment, your edited manuscript will be sent to you. We will also consider a payment structure based on the number of chapters of your project. For example, if your book is divided into 15 chapters, we can arrange for payment per every 3 chapters that are edited and returned to you. |
